Real VR Fishing’s developer says its Halloween event and free Clear Creek map are live in the October 13 Steam update. Its release notice also brings forward two sharks that had been scheduled for October 20.
What the Steam announcement confirms
The dated Steam notice confirms those additions rather than merely repeating a planned release date. This is developer-reported availability, not an installation test by Choosense.
What remains unverified on Quest
Earlier official announcement titles on Meta and Facebook named October 13, Halloween, ice fishing and hand tracking. Those titles were checked on October 11, before release; their complete post text was not accessible in that check.
The Steam release notice does not establish Quest rollout status or hand tracking, ice fishing and mixed-reality support across headsets and storefronts. A feature named in one announcement should not be read as a promise of controller-free play on every device.
Check the release notes and feature requirements for the version you actually play. Choosense has not installed or tested this update.

The developer’s October 13 Steam announcement was read on October 15, 2026. It confirms Halloween, the free Clear Creek map and the early shark additions on Steam. Earlier Meta and Facebook announcement evidence remains historical, checked October 11; their full post bodies were not retrieved in that check. Quest rollout, hand tracking, ice fishing and mixed-reality compatibility by headset/storefront remain unverified. Choosense has not installed or tested the update. Original October 11 publication date and canonical URL are retained.
October 15, 2026 update: replaced future-tense release wording with the developer’s Steam availability confirmation, added Clear Creek and the advanced shark additions, and retained explicit limits on Quest and headset-specific feature verification.
