Supernatural’s independent return is getting closer, but an existing subscription is not the same as an account for the new service. UploadVR reported on October 16 that Early Access is planned soon. When Choosense checked the new Meta Quest listing on October 17, it still showed Coming soon and Fall 2026, not a confirmed launch day.

A fresh account, not an automatic upgrade

The company’s FAQ says everyone needs a new account at WeAreSupernatural.com; old Meta profiles do not carry over. It says the new account can use a different email and does not require Meta or Facebook linkage. The announced launch markets are the United States and Canada.

For a returning member, this creates two separate checks: identify the account that will access the new service, and identify who manages the old bill. Successfully registering for one does not demonstrate that the other has been canceled, converted or credited. Keep any existing billing records until the applicable service confirms what happens to them.

The founding price is for the first year

Supernatural’s public comeback page lists a $180 first-year Founding Member rate, followed by standard options of $20 per month or $200 per year. These are stated U.S. prices, not a checked-out total. The FAQ says founding registration currently requires no payment or card and is available before launch.

The $180 offer is therefore not a lifetime $180 annual price. At the advertised standard rates, twelve monthly payments total $240, versus $200 for an annual term. That arithmetic compares payment schedules, not refund rights or which plan is best for someone who may stop using the app. Check the actual billing interval and renewal terms before paying.

Existing subscriptions remain managed by Meta, according to the FAQ. Questions about those charges belong with that existing service. Do not treat a new-service signup as proof of an automatic subscription transfer or a refund in your own account; Choosense has not checked individual billing eligibility.

Carryover is a plan, not a completed migration

The official FAQ describes importing points and the original start date, with streaks and Favorites following later this year. It also limits the returning music library to what licensing permits. UploadVR’s newer report describes broader history carryover, but neither wording verifies that an individual member’s data has already transferred.

The FAQ has no visible revision date, so the precise day-one migration sequence remains unclear. Readers who value a workout list or a long streak should keep a personal record and wait for the actual import instructions. That is a precaution, not a claim that data will be lost or that manual notes can restore it.

Household access remains a separate question

The FAQ does not confirm shared or household subscriptions for launch. A personal Founding Member registration should not be read as confirmation that everyone in a household can use one paid plan.

Before committing, confirm three things in the final launch instructions: who the subscription covers, which history fields are available immediately, and how the new charge relates to any remaining old plan. Early Access can be useful without being the complete finished service. No launch-day feature test or successful account migration is claimed here.

Sources & verification

Primary company FAQ, homepage, terms and Meta listing opened October 17, 2026. October 16 Early Access plans are attributed to UploadVR; the underlying Facebook announcement was throttled and is not counted as read. The official store still says Coming soon/Fall 2026. Homepage letter is dated June 3; FAQ has no visible revision date. No exact launch day, completed migration, complete restored music library, household sharing, individual refund eligibility, checkout total or hands-on result verified. Pricing is the company's stated U.S. offer, not a transaction. No legal, medical or personalized billing advice.
